Continuing Education Requirements
Affiliate Brokers
16 hours of approved education every two years to renew the license. The 6-hour Core Course is part of this requirement.
Brokers
120 additional hours within three years of becoming a Broker. Then, 16 hours every two years thereafter.
CLI offers a variety of home study courses to meet these requirements.

All CE courses are physical home study books that CLI will ship to you at no extra cost.
TREC Core Course
This is the required 6-hour course Affiliate Brokers and Brokers must take every two years to renew their license.

8-Hour Credit Course
- Foreclosures, Short Sales, REOs, and Auctions
- Course Fee: $85 Each
30-Hour Credit Courses
- Introduction to Real Estate Law
- Essentials of Real Estate Investment
- The Course for New Affiliates (Qualifying Course*)
- Broker/Office Management (Qualifying Course*)
- Course Fee: $185 Each
* Qualifying courses do not provide CE credits.
